Data sources

r365 computes every plan from public data sets. Their publishers make them available on the conditions below, and we name them here as those conditions require. None of these publishers has reviewed or endorses r365; any error in how we use their data is ours.

Nutrient values

Most nutrient values come from the Swiss Food Composition Database:

Foods it does not cover are filled from the United States database:

A few packaged products use the values printed by their manufacturer.

Climate figures

ADEME – AGRIBALYSE 3.2. Original data downloaded from data.ademe.fr3 (summary table, updated on 27 February 2025; detail by stage4, updated on 5 September 2025). Licence Ouverte / Open Licence 2.0 (Etalab5). We convert the values to our ingredients and label each with its system boundary; ADEME does not endorse this use.

AYCE-earth6, Eaternity (CC0), for foods AGRIBALYSE does not cover.

Allergen evidence

Contains information from Open Food Facts7, which is made available here under the Open Database License (ODbL)8. We used its product listings as evidence when deciding whether a branded product contains an allergen.

Reference values

• Nutrient targets: Swiss reference values for nutrient intake, Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office FSVO (2022), and the D-A-CH reference values for nutrient intake of the German, Austrian and Swiss nutrition societies (DGE, ÖGE, SGE).
• Upper limits: European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), tolerable upper intake levels.
